Game three of the series featured a fog so intense that players could barely see, but Sabres center Jim Lorentz saw a bat flying by, swatted his stick at it, and killed it! The Sabres lost the Finals that year, and were also on the losing end of the 1999 Cup which is known as the "No Goal" game, in which the Dallas Stars Brett Hull scored in triple over-time, on one of the most disputed goals in NHL history.
